What To Expect

1

Day 1: Sapa – Tram Ton – 2200 meters - 2800 meters:

At 7:00 AM, meet at the office in Sapa for a hot shower and luggage storage. You’ll have some free time to
explore Sapa town before the trek.

At 9:00 AM, a driver will take you to Tram Ton Pass, the starting point of the Fansipan hike. You’ll meet
your porter – a local Black Hmong – who will carry food and camping gear.

Begin your ascent of Mount Fansipan (3,143m), trekking through pine and bamboo forests and crossing
streams in a cool, fresh climate. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the local ethnic
minorities such as the Black Hmong, Red Dao, and Dzay.

Around noon, stop at 2,200m for a picnic lunch.

After a short rest, continue the trek to your overnight camp at 2,800m, arriving around 4:00 PM.

You’ll have time to relax or explore the surrounding nature while your guide and porter prepare dinner.

Enjoy a hot meal at 6:30 PM, then rest early for the next day’s summit hike.

panoramic views over Sapa, Lai Chau, and even parts of Yunnan, China on a clear day.
Begin your descent at 8:00 AM, with a picnic lunch along the way.
